Complete Description
Utilizes appropriate interviewing techniquest to accurately obtain relevant information from patients and families to set priorities to meet the needs of the patient and unit. Performs interviewing and assessments that respect the patient and family rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. Initiates Care Plan which includes patient development, care, learning needs, and discharge planning of patient.
Education and Experience: Work requires a professional level of knowledge of nursing practice and theory at a level acquired by completion of a two year training program at an accredited School of Nursing. BSN is preferred. State of Illinois license as a Registered Nurse.
