  Complete Description

As on-site management on the evening, night and weekend shifts, addresses patient care and operational issues by interacting with patients, family members, physicians and employees in a timely manner.  Serves as an on-site resource to staff regarding staffing, patient placement and patient care issues and concerns.  Provides professional nursing care services to patients and their families with a wide variety of diagnoses.  Serves as a resource to nursing staff and administration regarding more difficult patient care issues.  Assists with education assessment and training.

Education and Experience:  Work requires a professional level of knowledge of nursing practice and theory at a level acquired by completion of a two-year training program at an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.  Work requires three to five years of nursing orientation and on the job training to develop proficiency in use of caring for patients with a variety of diagnoses. Experience in medical/surgical and a critical care setting is preferred.

 Additional Information

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
